Think of each round as one specific product combination

For example: this set, in red, size medium. Viewers who want that combination join this round; someone wanting black in a large waits for the matching item. The host then moves through colors and sizes in successive rounds.

  1. Identify the itemItem / Color / SizeState the style, color, size and included pieces. A specific variant is also called a SKU.
  2. Interested viewers bidPlace a bidA bid is an offer submitted through the platform. “I want M” in comments is only a request.
  3. The ending determines the winnerWin the auctionThe highest bidder wins. Last-second extensions depend on the round’s settings.
  4. Then verify paymentPayment confirmedWinning must be followed by a payment-status check before counting a paid sale.

These are standard mechanisms described in TikTok Shop’s US guidance. The specific settings in these recordings are unverified.Official guide ↗

Remember thisHelp viewers understand what is for sale, whether it suits them, and how to participate, then invite bids and check the result.
Compare & learn · Two LIVEs

A clarifies the choice; QGU follows up with “Another color?”

Both respond to color and size requests and contain spoken bidding cues. A changes garments and shows size signs more often; QGU emphasizes named follow-ups and quotes for another color. Compare similar moments, then see how to improve them.

A · Earlier LIVE / 10:00

Show the current combination

Color changes, size signs and try-ons stand out. Instructions follow when a newcomer needs help. Adopt the visual checks and move the tutorial earlier.

B · QGU / 14:26

Follow up, then offer another color

Named responses and another-color offers after congratulations stand out. Match the visible item to the offer and clarify prices and shipping.

This compares observable actions, not sales performance. Traffic and recording length differ, and no order or payment data is available. Comparisons 1–4 use each recording’s first 10 minutes; 5–6 add later moments from B.

Play A, then B, and read the explanation and suggested wording below. Starting one excerpt automatically pauses the others.

How can a beginner combine the useful ideas?

  1. Welcome, then show the itemIntroduce the category, then show the current style, color, size and included pieces.
  2. Answer questions before openingExplain sizing, the bidding entry point, the kind of price and timer mode.
  3. Check, then offer another colorCheck the previous platform result, then offer another color while showing the matching item.
  4. Explain cost and check outcomesExplain actual shipping terms and check payment before evaluating additional purchases.

How long is a round? Does hitting a target price end it?

The US setup guide lists an initial timer of 3 seconds to 2 minutes. Fixed auctions end at zero; extended auctions may reset the timer when a late bid arrives. The highest valid bid wins at the end. A host’s desired price does not justify ending early. The market, round durations and settings of these LIVEs remain unverified.

Evidence reviewed and remaining limits

B was recorded at 22:37 on Sep 29, 2026 and imported via AirDrop. All 866.43 seconds were automatically transcribed; 58 frames were sampled at 15-second intervals and key comments checked. The six excerpts use a compressed copy of the original. Recognition may mishear names, “bid” and prices. The notes summarize the analysis rather than provide verbatim subtitles.

B’s sampled concurrent count is about 2–9; A’s earlier samples show about 45–74. Sampling and recording quality differ. These provide context, not unique-viewer totals or conversion rates. On-screen purchase notices cannot be counted as paid orders within the recorded interval.

Without auction cards, complete timers and order records, we cannot establish profitability, sales by color, whether follow-up quotes became paid sales, or exclusive buyer access. A’s fifth excerpt has damaged visuals later on; the sixth is audio only. B’s sampled frames remained readable.

For each lesson, review three key expressions, watch the excerpt, then practice the suggested wording. Vocabulary is a learning aid, not a claim that the host used those exact words.

LIVE B · What to improve

Five priorities for LIVE B

Keep B’s personal replies and invitations to see another color. Add the information buyers need to understand the item, price and order. The numbers below are a suggested practice order, not measured sales impact.

01

Clarify the price before inviting bids

Watch the paired excerpts · B 03:48–04:30 ↗

Observed: The excerpt combines wording directed at one buyer with spoken prompts to keep bidding. A newcomer may confuse a starting price, current bid and guaranteed purchase price.

What to do: Check the auction card before stating the item and starting price. During bidding, identify the current bid. Confirm a winner only after the platform shows the result. Use exclusive-buyer wording only when that access actually exists.

The starting price is [amount]. Check the item and size on the auction card before you bid.Replace [amount] with the verified starting price.
02

Match the item on screen to the words

Watch the paired excerpts · B 00:00–01:22 ↗

Observed: The host’s worn short style and the blue trousers she holds appear together. The visible item does not always change with the discussion of other colors, leaving viewers to infer the match.

What to do: Show the current item with its style, color, size and included pieces. When changing colors, change the physical item and check the card. Identify the host’s try-on style separately.

This is the item for this round: [style], [color], size [size]. Let me show you exactly what’s included.Replace every placeholder with details that match both the item and the card.
03

Explain shipping before offering another item

Watch the paired excerpts · B 10:10–10:41 ↗

Observed: A viewer asks about combined shipping and the host says it is not offered. A lower quote for another color does not establish a lower total once shipping is included.

What to do: Verify the shop’s shipping settings, explain whether orders can be combined and show where charges appear. Let the buyer check the platform’s charges before inviting another bid.

Before you bid on another color, please check the shipping charge and total for that order.Guide viewers using the actual interface; do not promise free shipping or a lower total.
04

Explain the basis for a size recommendation

Watch the paired excerpts · B 06:38–07:26 ↗

Observed: The viewer says they usually wear M and the host suggests S, without showing garment measurements or a clear reason in this excerpt. This does not prove S is wrong, but makes the advice hard to check.

What to do: Confirm the style and preferred fit, then consult that style’s measurements and measurement method. If information is missing, check first rather than deciding from the usual size alone.

Do you prefer a close fit or a little more room? Let’s check the measurements for this style before choosing a size.Use measurements for the specific style, not a general promise about fit.
05

Check the previous result before offering another color

Watch the paired excerpts · B 11:58–12:57 ↗

Observed: Following a spoken congratulations with another color is a useful move to study. However, 5→4→3 is a sequence of quotes across excerpts, not a verified discount policy or paid-price history.

What to do: Check the platform result, color, size and payment status first. For a size change, verify what the order allows before promising it. Then identify the next item and kind of price. Record payments, cancellations and refunds separately.

Please check the color, size, and payment status in your order. Would you like to see another color?Check the platform result first; spoken congratulations do not establish payment.

A simple routine for the next LIVE

Before each round: show the exact item → state the price type → resolve sizing and shipping questions → invite bids. After the platform result: check the order → offer another color. Keep a round-by-round log of item, bidder count, result, payment and any size-change or shipping questions; compare sessions only with consistent definitions.

These suggestions follow the sampled excerpts. The English lines are practice wording, not host quotations. No order records establish that these issues caused lost sales, or that a particular change will increase conversion.

What to change first

Three priorities for LIVE A

01

Teach newcomers before starting

Explain the entry point, payment preparation and winning prompt beforehand. Let an active round finish, then accommodate late preparation according to stock.

02

Make the current item obvious

Display the color name or code, current size and included pieces. Label the host’s try-on size separately.

03

Review results by round

Record the item, bidder count, winner and payment status for each round. Record a repeated auction of the same combination as a separate round.

Official mechanisms: auctioning specific colors and sizes

US guidance supports selecting variants and auctioning multiple units in successive rounds. The highest bidder wins at the end; buyers should prepare a valid payment method. An active round runs to completion, with timer extensions depending on settings.Official setup guide ↗ · Official feature introduction ↗

Checked Sep 29, 2026. The shop’s market and settings are unknown. Official mechanisms provide context, not proof that every feature was enabled. Time spent presenting an item is not the system’s auction countdown.

Recording quality: when are the visuals unreliable?
00:0003:01–03:3208:28–10:00

Red ranges mark major visual problems: green blocks, misalignment, mirroring interruption or frozen frames. Audio is silent for about 9.6 seconds at 03:22.24–03:31.84. Excerpt 5 ends with damaged visuals; excerpt 6 uses audio only. These recording defects do not establish the original LIVE’s picture quality.

All excerpts come from the local recording, without generated or reconstructed footage. Viewing cues are analytical summaries. Accents can cause recognition errors; the price and final spoken win were checked with a second recognition model, but this cannot replace platform records.

What remains unverified?

The currency and role of 11, bidding sequence, paid units, revenue, profit and sales ranking by color remain unknown. Readable frames show about 45–74 concurrent viewers, not unique viewers or potential bidders per round. Counts in frozen footage are not treated as live data.
